BPC-157

BPC-157, or Body Protecting Compound-157, is a synthetic peptide consisting of 15 amino acids. It was first identified in the 1990s and has since been the subject of numerous studies exploring its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in the context of tissue healing and protection. BPC-157 is derived from a protein found in stomach acid.

BPC-157 exerts its effects through multiple mechanisms, although the exact pathways are not fully understood. It is believed to interact with various growth factor receptors and influence the production of growth factors and cytokines, which are crucial for tissue repair and regeneration.
